Optimized flatness with CENTRO-Heat
Targeted re-tempering before the lay-flat
Many types of film (e.g., films with HD content) benefit from being fed into the flattening process at a defined higher temperature. The CENTRO-Heat enables a uniform increase in film temperature around the entire circumference of the bubble immediately before flattening. To do this, the CENTRO-Heat blows evenly distributed preheated air onto the film bubble, thereby heating it up in a targeted manner. This allows the film temperature to be set precisely in order to achieve optimum flatness.
Digital process control
At the touch of a button, you can activate the CENTRO-Heat’s automatic control loop, which keeps the film temperature constant and thus ensures perfect flatness at all times.
The integrated sensor system records the film temperature before and after the CENTRO-Heat, the temperature and pressure of the tempering air, and other production parameters. All data is clearly displayed on a screen – for reproducible processes and full control in real time.
Thanks to precise temperature control, only as much energy as is actually needed is used. The maximum air temperature always remains below critical values, which means that damage to the film is ruled out. This allows you to benefit from the highest production quality, maximum energy efficiency, and safe operation.
